River Bend Restaurant

rest1In 2001 we purchased an adjacent 10 acre parcel located just downstream from our property. The new land runs along the river for about one-third of a mile and has two big bends in the river, including Jennings Rapids, which is the exciting rapids stretch below the “Home Pool”. The view from River Bend just below the rapids is one of the most spectacular settings in the area, with bright sunshine reflecting off running water and snow-capped mountains in the background.

The original property had a bar/café and an RV park. Since then we remodeled the original building and built an impressive log, post-and-beam dining room addition. River Bend Restaurant and Saloon is a smoke-free, full beverage and dining facility offering a unique setting for the public along with our fishing guests. The dining room contains historical photos of the town of Jennings at the turn of the century, along with stern-wheel steam boats which supplied the Canadian gold rush before the railroads were established. Enjoy a nice steak or another delicious entree’ with a glass of wine while enjoying a great western sunset. River Bend also has a pool table, foosball, cribbage, chess and other games available. We recently added wireless internet service. We look forward to serving you.
