Hot Rainbow on the Kootenai River | Kootenai Angler

This fish Cory Luoma from Fly Out Media hooked this past September on the Kootenai River was hot hot hot. He took 3 or 4 strong runs before we were able to settle her down for the net. This is a prime example of the larger class rainbows that we have on the Kootenai River.

    Libby, Montana experiences a continental climate. This means that typically there are large seasonal temperature differences, with warm to hot (sometimes humid) summers and cold (sometimes severely cold) winters.
