Kootenai River Flow: 20,000 Cubic Feet per second 12 foot visibility, 50 degrees. 

Koocanusa Inflow: 24,500

Hatches: March Browns, Olive Stones, Little Blue Quills, Midges, Some PMDs and Tan Caddis starting. Big Carpenter Ants on the hot afternoons.

Effective Patterns: 

Dry:  PMD’s,Red Quill, BWO, midge pupa, small parachute adams, all streamers, assorted chubbies, black ants.

Nymph and Streamers: Da Bomb, Beadhead Prince, Pheasant Tail, Stones and Midge Pupa, Soft Hackles. Black/Olive Conehead Wooly Buggers, Sculpins, Pat’s Rubber Legs.

Kootenai River Flow: 6900 Cubic Feet per second 12 foot visibility, 50 degrees. 

Koocanusa Inflow: 24,500

Hatches: March Browns, Olive Stones, Little Blue Quills, Midges, Silver stripe caddis are hatching. Caddis starting to show on lower river. Big Carpenter Ants on the hot afternoons.

Effective Patterns:

-Outflows will decrease from 20.0 kcfs to 17.5 kcfs at 0000 MDT.

The following outflow changes are scheduled for Monday, June 16:
-Outflows will decrease from 17.5 kcfs to 16.0 kcfs at 0000 MDT.

The following outflow changes are scheduled for Tuesday, June 17:
-Outflows will decrease from 16.0 kcfs to 15.0 kcfs at 0000 MDT.

The following outflow changes are scheduled for Wednesday, June 18:
-Outflows will decrease from 15.0 kcfs to 14.0 kcfs at 0000 MDT.

The following outflow changes are scheduled for Thursday, June 19:
-Outflows will decrease from 14.0 kcfs to 13.0 kcfs at 0000 MDT.

The following outflow changes are scheduled for Friday, June 20:
-Outflows will decrease from 13.0 kcfs to 12.0 kcfs at 0000 MDT.

The following outflow changes are scheduled for Saturday, June 21:
-Outflows will decrease from 12.0 kcfs to 11.0 kcfs at 0000 MDT.

Fishing has been decent with higher flows, we expect more hatches as the river drops
