The river is now at a great level for fishing. Fish have been rising in to hoppers throughout the day. Hoppers will pick up the further into summer we get. PMD’s and caddis are also working very well in the evenings from 7-10.  Caddis range from size 12-16.

On slower days, nymphing is always a great way to catch fish.

Effective Patterns:

Dries: Dave’s hoppers, PMD’s, Elk Hair Caddis, Royal Wulff, BWO, Stimis, and Green Drakes.

Nymphs: Da bomb, Pheasant Tail, Hares Ear, Prince Nymph, and Copper Johns.
