River Flow –  9,000 cfs , 10-15 ft visibility, River Temp – 56 degrees

Hatches –  Wow its hopper time already, Caddis and PMD’s late in afternoon, some Green Drakes in select areas.

Effective Patterns : All Hopper Patterns, #18,20 parachute adams, royal wulff, split-wing purple haze, Kootenai caddis, griffiths gnat. #14, 16 prince nymph da-bomb, #4,6 cone-head black/olive buggers, small olive stimulators, green drake, Royal Wulff

Guide Report: Day long dry fly conditions with lots of terrestrial patterns, an average of 50 fish raised per person/day

Fishing outlook – River is set to be at 9000 CFS through September, this is below a mid-range flow lots of wading areas open, but be careful out there, avoid wading at island points where gravels can be unstable.
