We are hosting the 5th annual Kootenai Highland Games in July. It the Scottish American Athletic Association highland games including Caber Toss, Hammer Throw, Breamer Stone, etc. along with the Clans and pipers singing of anthems. They are returning to River Bend again this year July 14-16. Friday night offers live music, fun games and vendors. Saturday is the main event athletic games along with opening ceremony with the presentation of the clans. Sunday will be primitive game day, open to everyone which includes, Archery, Spear and Hatchet Throw, and Rock Chucking. This is a great family event with the great backdrop of the Kootenai River.
